For small cases, the case value differs from state to state and the actions you choose to take.

Demand Letters may claim up to $500,000 (if you are interested in claiming more, please contact us) but if you wish to escalate your case to Small Claims court, here is the breakdown in the states we currently operate in:

New York:

  • $3,000 if you sue in a Town or Village Court.

  • $5,000 if you sue in a City Court.

  • $10,000 if you sue in the New York City Court.

California:

  • $10,000 if you sue in court as a private individual.

  • $5,000 if you sue in court as a business.

Florida:

  • $8,000 limit for all cases.

Illinois:

  • $10,000 limit for all cases.

Texas:

  • $20,000 limit for all cases.
